Silver Grove is found in northeastern Campbell County, at 39°2’13”N 84°23’55”W (39.036902; -84.398652), along the south bank of the Ohio River. Through Interstate 471, downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, is only 10 miles (16 kilometers) away. The Kentucky Route 8 runs through the city. It leads northwest (downstream), along the river 8 mi (13 km), to Dayton, and southeast 32 miles (51 km), to Augusta.
Silver Grove, according to the United States Census Bureau, has an area of 1.7 miles (4.3km2) with 1.1 square miles (2.9 km2) of Land and 0.54 sq. miles (1.4 km2) of water.

The city had 1,102 residents, 417 households, and 260 families as of 2010. 384.5/km2 was the average density of the population. It had 999.8 people per square meter. At an average density of 408.1/square mile (157.0/km2), there were 496 housing units. 98% of the city’s population was White. 0.1% African American and 0.1% Asian. 0.4% were from other races. 1.5% came from two or more races. The population was 0.2% Hispanic and Latino of any race.
There were 417 households. 31.4% of these households had children below the age of 18.42. 11.5% of these households were made up of married couples, 11.5% of them were females with no husband, and 37.6% of these households were not families. A mere 30.2% of households were composed of individuals, and 6.71% of them had an individual 65 years old or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size 3.31.
The city’s population was distributed with 28.1% under 18 years old, 10.0% of the aged between 18 and 24, 32.4% of the 25-44 age group, 18.0% of the 45-64 age group, and 11.4% of the 65-year-olds. The median age was 32. There were 115.0 males for every 100 females. There were 109.4 men for every 100 females over 18 years old.
The median income of a household was $32,448, while that of a family was $41,691. The median income for males was $36,083, while that of females was $23,977. The city’s per capita income was $15,129. The poverty line was reached by 8.8% of households and 10.7% of the population, which includes 12.2% of children under 18 years old and 12.9% of people 65 and older.

Don F. Pratt Memorial museum traces the history of “Screaming Eagles,” from World War II engagements in Vietnam to current operations, including Iraq and Afghanistan. MB Roland Distillery, a craft distillery that uses only “grain-to-glass” technology, is located in Pembroke (Christian Co. KY). They are located outside the city and affectionately refer their exact location to “downtown St.” Elmo.” Each product is hand-made using local white corn. It can be anything from Kentucky Bourbon that has been “distillation and barrel proof” to Kentucky Pink Lemonade that has natural flavors.
